The second edition of the "Cap Cana Championship 2010 will take place from Friday Mar 26 – Sunday Mar 28, 2010, and has value to $ 2.0 million and 300 thousand dollars for the winner of first place in the tournament, which held again at Punta Espada Golf Club.

Punta Espada Golf Course to host second annual Champions Tour event Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, October 21, 2008: The PGA Champion’s Tour and Cap Cana recently announced that the 2nd Annual Cap Cana Championship will be held from March 23rd - 29th, 2009 at Punta Espada Golf Club in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. “The inaugural event, held in March 2008 at Cap Cana resort, was a huge success in all aspects of golf and hospitality from the ever-welcoming Dominican Republic,” said Mike Stevens, President of the PGA Champions Tour. “Our players and our team are eager to return to Cap Cana and continue our past success in 2009.” Punta Espada Golf Course is the first of three Jack Nicklaus Signature and Design courses to open at Cap Cana and features eight magnificent holes set along the Caribbean Sea.
